１０００兆円を超える借金、想像もつかないような額で、減らせるメドが立っているなら１００年掛かっても何時かは返せるが、民主党政権になってバラマキを更にエスカレートさせている。
一部のエコノミストたちが、もっと国債をばらまけと言って無責任に煽っているが、何かまずいことが起きても、その手の類はさっと雲隠れするだけだ。
それまでは好きなことを言っていても責任をとらされることも無い。
東日本大震災で巨大津波が発生したが、津波研究者が過去に起きた最大の津波を想定したシミュレーション結果が出たときに、あまりにも悲惨な結果が出たので、そのままでは公表ができなかったと述べていたことが印象に残った。
平和に暮らしているときに、悲惨なシミュレーションを見せられても怒り出す人さえいる。当の研究者は結果をそのまま発表するべきであっただろうか。
このことが国債のデフォルトにも通じる。なぜ、問題なく暮らしているのにわざと暗い話をするのかと。デフォルトを起こしたくて言っているわけではない。ただ、日本の行く末に心配をしているからである。無責任なことは言えない。
